Walk, Run Spring's Paths! 봄길을 걸으며, 달리며!
[하이코리언 뉴스]봄꽃길은 걷거나 차를 타고 달리는 것만으로도 그 매력에 푹 빠질 수 있다. 먼저, 꽃길을 걸으며 봄꽃을 감상하기 좋은 곳을 소개한다.청계천은 서울의 중심을 흐르는 하천으로, 분수대와 야외 공연장이 있는 청계광장과 함께 하천을 따라 걸을 수 있는 산책길이 마련되어 있다. 봄이 되면 이 산책길을 따라 개나리, 진달래, 제비꽃, 청매화, 홍매화 등을 만날 수 있다. 경기도에서부터 서울의 동쪽을 거쳐 한강으로 들어가는 하천으로 벚꽃을 비롯하여 목련, 개나리 등을 볼 수 있다. 특히 하늘을 가릴 정도로 뒤덮은 벚꽃이 인상 깊다. 서울의 서쪽에서 만날 수 있는 안양천 제방은 벚꽃이 특히 아름다운 곳으로 바람이라도 살짝 불면 흩날리는 꽃비를 맞을 수 있다. 약 1km 구간을 다른 곳보다 비교적 한가하게 걸으며 감상할 수 있다는 점도 장점 중 하나다.
차를 타고 달리기에 좋은 봄꽃길은 인왕산길, 워커힐길, 벚꽃십리길 등이 있다.
인왕산길은 서울의 대표적 드라이브 코스지만 차량 통행이 많지 않아 새하얀 벚꽃길로 가득 찬 전경을 눈에 담으며 드라이브를 즐길 수 있다. 성북동쪽에서 시작되어 인왕산 사직공원을 지나 북악스카이웨이 정상 팔각정에 도착하면 잠시 내려서 북한산 자락에 펼쳐진 봄꽃 전경과 함께 한강을 조망해보자.아차산 생태공원 옆, 워커힐 호텔 방향으로 가다보면 도로 양 옆으로 벚꽃이 피어있는 길, 일명 워커힐길도 유명하다. 이곳은 벚꽃 구경과 함께 아차산을 가볍게 산책하거나 등산할 수도 있다.이외에도 금천구청역부터 가산 디지털단지역 사이에 멋진 벚꽃로가 조성되어 있는 벚꽃십리길에서도 향긋한 봄 기운을 느낄 수 있다.
Whether you walk, run, or drive these spring paths, you're sure to enjoy the beautiful flowers along the way. Cheonggyecheon Stream flows through central Seoul and is a great urban promenade that has fountains, an outdoor theater, and Cheonggye Plaza. In the springtime, there are forsythia, azaleas, violets, apricot blossoms and other various flowers to take in as you walk along the stream. The Jungnangcheon Stream flows from Gyeonggi Province through eastern Seoul until it reaches the Han River. Cherry blossoms, magnolia, and forsythia are some of the flowers you will see here, but the tall cherry blossoms will likely leave the deepest impression on you. Anyangcheon Stream is located in western Seoul and its embankments grow thick with cherry blossoms. Walking along Anyangcheon, you may experience a flower petal shower, as even the slightest breeze will send petals fluttering. One of the stream's many positives is that for roughly 1km, you may able to walk relatively peacefully, without large crowds.
You can also drive spring's paths for some great flower viewing. Inwangsan Mountain Road, Walker Hill Road, and Cherry Blossom Simni Road are a few of the roads where you can see a plethora of spring flowers.
Inwangsan Mountain Road is Seoul's top driving course for spring flowers but not many cars are allowed through at once so you can take time to fully enjoy the cherry blossoms and the scenery. Starting in eastern Seoul, in the Seongbuk-gu area drive past Inwangsan Mountain's Sajik Park , take the Bugak Skyway to the Bugak Skyway Palgakjeong Pavilion. Rest and have lunch at the pavilion, and take in the flowers at the foot of Bukhansan Mountain and the views of the Han River. Next to Achasan Mountain Ecological Park is the Walkerhill Hotel. Drive towards the hotel and you will find Walkerhill Road. Walkerhill Road is famous for its cherry blossoms, and they line both sides of the road. You can enjoy the flowers here and also take a casual hike up Achasan Mountain. Last but not least is the Cherry Blossom Simni Road which is located between Geumchon-gu Office Station and Gasan Digital Complex Station.
